Welcome to our site!

Hi there! If you have found this site, you probably found it because you heard the song “A Parent’s Prayer”, and/or, have a loved one that is struggling with addictions. We want you to know that there is HOPE.

It all started with a song. Our youngest son went into Adult and Teen Challenge in February of 2019. At that time, God started laying words on Quintin’s heart that soon turned into a complete song. Don at Doughboy Recording generously donated studio time and his talents to turn this into something we never thought possible! The song is the story of our journey. Our son lasted 3 months at ATC, and then left. We are still on the journey, and we love our son unconditionally. Our hope is that he will stay clean, and that he will know that we still love him even if he doesn’t.

We believe that God cares about you and your loved one. Sometimes it feels like prayers aren’t getting answered, that they are bouncing back at you, but please know, that God is listening, and He cares. We can’t pretend to know the mind of God, but we do believe that God has given us free choice, including our loved one who is struggling. Unfortunately, someone who is struggling with addictions has probably made a life-time worth of poor choices. There is hope though. God can still change their hearts. Continue to love them and pray for them, because “God cares for them too”.

If you need anything from us, be that prayer, encouragement, or you have a question, please do not hesitate to contact us. We do not have all the answers, but we will do our best to help you along your journey down this tough road.

Much love,

Quintin and Beth Giesbrecht
